The Comet

Ten years ago today, my guide, Chariji, transitioned to the Brighter World, leaving the hearts of millions in the steady, capable hands of Daaji. I remember the strange, lingering vulnerability that settled over me that day—a profound sense of being "broken" that felt impossible to mend.
Even though his final message offered the ultimate reassurance—"Distance makes no difference, I shall be with you always..."—nothing could truly prepare me, nor the thousands of others whose lives He had so meticulously and tenderly transformed
.
In the wake of that loss, Brother A.P. Durai wrote a memoir titled “In the Path of the Comet”, chronicling his magical and transformative decades in the close proximity of Chariji.
I used to wonder about that title.
Why a comet? Today, the answer arrived from the depths of space. As we mark ten years since Chariji’s transition, the largest unexplained interstellar object to pass our planet in human history—3I/ATLAS—makes its closest approach. To see this happen on the very day of his Mahasamadhi, while over a million people gather to meditate, feels like far more than a coincidence.
To the world, it is a comet; to me, it is the "Old Man" saying hello from beyond infinity—a gentle tap on the head with his walking stick to remind us that he truly is with us; Always...
